Make The Mayonnaise

Mayonnaise is a must in my house. My mom loves it so much that I have to make it at least three times in a month. I barely get any chance to taste it after making it. Children also loves Mayo and it is very expensive if you need to buy a large amount for your home. In some Asian country Mayonnaise is very expensive for middle class people. even upper middle class people rarely buy it. as I belong from an Asian country, Mayonnaise is also very expensive in my country. We have so many varieties but all are expensive. So, I had to find a way to keep my mom happy and also spent less money for it. Here is my own Homemade Mayonnaise recipe. It is very tasty and also very healthy for old age people as well as heart patient. With only few ingredients you can have a medium or large jar of mayonnaise. So, let's get started to make our homemade healthy mayonnaise.

Step 1: To make approximately 750 gm Mayonnaise, you need 2 large Eggs of room temperature. Other ingredients you need:

  1. Garlic (5-6 cloves)
  2. Black Pepper (1 1/2 tsp.)
  3. Sugar (3 tbsp.)
  4. Salt (1 tsp.)
  5. Mustard (2 tsp.)
  6. Tomato Sauce or Ketchup (2 tsp.)
  7. Oil (1 1/2 cup)
  8. Lemon juice (1 tbsp.)

Step 2: Take a clean dry blender or mixer. Add 2 eggs, salt, sugar, pepper and garlic. Blend it at high speed for 2 minutes. After blending them add mustard, tomato sauce or ketchup and lemon juice. Now, that you mixed everything together just blend this mixture for another 3-5 minutes.

Step 3: In this step we will add our last ingredient which is Oil. This step is very crucial because if you don't do it carefully and properly, your whole mixture will be separated and you won't have a drop of mayonnaise. So, pour 1 tablespoon of oil each time and blend it for 3-4 minutes. Keep doing this until you start to see the mixture is transforming into mayonnaise. When you see its all mixed up and have a consistency of mayonnaise then pour the rest of the oil and keep blending for another 5 minutes at least.

Step 4: Keep your mayonnaise in a clean, dry glass jar and keep it in the fridge.

You can store this homemade mayonnaise for one week. So, try to make it in a small batch at first. Hope this recipe will help you to make the most delicious, mouthwatering mayo at home. See ya until next time!!!

DIY Marbled Candles

How To Make Your Own Marbled Candles

Want to add some personality to your space? An eye-catching pair of marbled candles and vintage candlesticks will add excitement to your dining room or mantle.

As a fan of all-things marbled (including cheesecake), today I’m sharing my latest discovery: a DIY swirling method that allows you to easily marble three-dimensional objects (!). With the right paint and an organized workspace, you can easily create a swoon-worthy set of marbled candles in your own home.

You will need:

  • A bucket or container large enough to fully submerge your candle
  • One set of taper or pillar candles
  • Enamel paint (I used Magic Marble brand)*
  • Water
  • Drop cloth and trash bags
  • Newspaper (or paper towels)
  • Stirring stick (a wooden dowel, skewer, or popsicle stick will do the trick)
  • Gloves
  • Acetone-based nail polish remover or mineral spirits
*For this project, you will need to work with a minimum of two and a maximum of three paint colors. I used black and white to create the candles in this tutorial; feel free to use any color combination you’d like.

 Before you get started:

Enamel paint can produce fumes, and it can also be difficult to remove from unwanted surfaces. With this in mind, be sure to do your swirling in a well-ventilated area, with gloves on to protect your hands. Use a drop-cloth to protect your workspace, and line your bucket with a garbage bag if it’s one you wish to keep clean. (Tip: Nail polish remover or mineral spirits will help remove enamel paint spills, should they occur.)
Finally, I recommend having a pile of newspaper and a trash can nearby when you start dipping your candles – it will make the process much smoother (and cleaner!).

Step 1: Prepare the Marbling Water

Fill your bucket with enough room-temperature tap water to fully submerge your candles. Shake your paint bottle thoroughly and add a few drops of your first color to the surface of the water. Repeat this process with your second (and third, if applicable) colors. Use your stirring stick to swirl the paint on the surface of the water.
(Tip: Don’t take too long thinking about the design you want to make during these steps, or the enamel paint will start to dry – potentially ruining your design.)

Step 2: Dip the Candle

Holding the candle tightly by the wick, fully submerge in the water using a quick, steady pace and a circular motion. Before you remove your candle from the water, use newspaper (or a paper towel) to remove the remaining paint from the surface of the water. This will prevent a second layer of marbling to form on your candle as you remove it from the water. Remove the candle and give it a gentle shake to remove any excess water.

Step 3: Let it Dry

After dipping a candle, let it dry on a candlestick (or hanging from its wick) for at least an hour. To repeat this process with another candle, remove any paint residue from the water before adding more paint.

And that’s it! Now, simply style with vintage candlesticks and revel in your newly glam tablescape.

Be crafty, keep crafting. And don't forget to Remember... if you're not Smiling, you're doing it Wrong!

Stone Wooden Candle Stand

Stone Wooden Candle Stand

Constructing projects from wood is a great way of making beautiful objects that will last a very long time. In order to do that, you’ll most likely have to put together pieces of wood to complete your project.

Here is a step by step guide to make a beautiful but classy Stone Wooden Candle Stand.

 For this DIY you'll need:

Wood x 2pcs.
Stones
Hammer
Nails
Hot Glue Gun and Hot Glue
Spray Paint (White, Black, Golden, Silver)

First sand two wooden pieces properly. For this project I used a 8"/4" wooden piece and 4"/4" wooden piece.

Then join two pieces together by placing the long piece on top of the square piece using hot glue gun.

After applying hot glue leave it until it dries. Then take a piece of nail and place it behind the square piece to make it strong enough to hang.

This is a quick and easy way to join two boards at right angles. However, because the end grain of one board is mating with the long grain of the other, glue will not hold these boards together very well at all. Usually these joints are reinforced with screws or nails.

There is one characteristic of wood that should be kept in mind when considering joinery options, and that is that wood is made of fibers running side by side. Gluing up wood so that the sides of the fibers (the long grain) are next to each other results in a strong glue joint, but gluing the ends of the fibers (the end grain) will be a very weak joint.

After joining the wooden pieces together it should look like this.

Next, Take some stones and place them as you want. When you are ready and happy the way you placed your stones put hot glue under each of them. I like to use round stones but I couldn't find them nearby so I used rustic sharp edge stones.

After fixing all the stones onto the wooden piece spray your favourite colour or preferable colour. I used white because it goes with the decor of my living room.

There are different types of spray paint. So, you can choose whatever colour you like.

That's it. You're Done. In a very little amount of time you have made a classy yet beautiful table top candle stand all by yourself.

Just play with your own ideas to improvise this simple DIY to make your home look more nice and sophisticated with a touch of love.

Don't forget to remember... If you're not Smiling... you're doing it Wrong!!!

DIY Pen Organizer

***Make Your Own Pen Organizer***

Raise your hands if you love collecting pens and pencils. Of course you have to raise your hands after all that is the most essential and must have item for crafters like us. I have spending my money buying hundreds and thousands on pens and pencils for my crafting hobby. Day by day this hobby is becoming my passion and for this I have got a name in my friend circle which is "Art Director".
I love doodling as well as making something useful. So, one day I was scrolling down my Facebook news feed and suddenly one video caught my attention. I rushed to grab a pen and paper but my crafting table was messed up totally. I searched and searched and searched but couldn't find a single pen or pencil to write down that idea on my to do list. I wanted to make a video for my YouTube channel on that idea but unfortunately I had to write it down by a marker instead of a pen or pencil.
At that moment I realised I need to be more organized if I want to pursue this hobby. Because I can't have a messy table or room to do crafting. I buy a lot of things every month for various kinds of projects. To keep those materials safe and reachable I have to have a box or something to seperate each item from one to another.

So, for my pens and pencils I made a GREAT, SUPER, EASY organizer box to keep them all together yet organized.

Here is the video on How To Make A Pop Up Pen Organizer Box.
This Pop Up Pen organizer box is so easy to make and it doesn't even take much time to make.
